One form, many systems
For Manor and Viseca, we built an application based on Ruby on Rails which, from the outside, looks like a simple form, but which, behind the scenes, orchestrates credit checks, address validations and API calls in milliseconds. The form is embedded in the Manor website via an IFrame and ensures high throughput – not just during Black Week.
Purchasing power whilst still in the shop
Anyone who submits an application receives a digital loyalty card within the very same minute, with a credit card function included if desired. The card can be used immediately at the point of sale or online. In the first three days following the launch, over 5’000 customers used the new service; to date, applications in the six-figure range have been processed. Oh – we almost forgot: naturally, a physical card is also issued. Fully automated via APIs, of course.
Software beyond code
Behind the form lies an encrypted architecture that links credit rating systems, address databases and POS functionality in real time, across devices and browsers, with no visible loading time.
